Group Members Earn Research Awards

Five group members were recognized at the annual Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences Awards Ceremony.

April won First Place in the AOSS Poster Session student contest. As part of the prize, April's research will be featured on The Weather Channel's show Weather Geeks. Additionally, Ethan and Kai-Wei were both named runners up in the AOSS Poster Session student contest.

Brian was recognized with the Ettenheim Award for his work on an applied meteorology project.

Lastly, Alex and April were both recognized formally for their Reid Bryson Scholarship awards.
