New Estimates of Earth's Energy Balance

Several years of work with members of the NASA Energy and Water cycle Study (NEWS) has finally culminated in a paper in Journal of Climate that summarizes objectively-balanced estimates of Earth's energy balance from state-of-the-art satellite observations.  The paper can be accessed here when the preprint is available.
