Group Member Visits West High School

On March 13, 2019 Michael Notaro, Associate Director of Nelson Institute Center for Climatic Research, and group member April Hang visited West High School invited by UW-Madison Precollege Enrichment Opportunity Program for Learning Excellence (PEOPLE) Program. Michael shared his story about meteorology and introduced Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences program. April shared her path from China to the U.S. and introduced knowledges about climate and clouds. After these presentations, April had a long conversation with students who were interested in perusing climate related jobs that gained very positive feedbacks.
