AMS 2017 Annual Meeting

Many of our group members attended the American Meteorological Society's Annual Meeting in Seattle this year.

Will presented a poster on Examining Shallow Snowfall Cases by Using Ground-Based Cloud Radars. Tristan gave an invited presentation, Satellite Perspectives on the Role of Clouds and Precipitation in Arctic Energy Balance. Alyson presented Quantifying and Decomposing the Shortwave Indirect Effect into the Twomey and Cloud Lifetime Components.

Alyson won the best student oral presentation award in the cloud-aerosol section. Will won second place student poster presentation in the hydrology conference. Congratulations Alyson and Will!
